Guys someone flagged my initial Video so I am having to post it again!!!!!

Weight loss, in the context of medicine, health, or physical fitness, refers to a reduction of the total body mass, due to a mean loss of fluid, body fat or adipose tissue or lean mass, namely bone mineral deposits, muscle, tendon, and other connective tissue. Weight loss can either occur unintentionally due to malnourishment or an underlying disease or arise from a conscious effort to improve an actual or perceived overweight or obese state. “Unexplained” weight loss that is not caused by reduction in calorific intake or exercise is called cachexia and may be a symptom of a serious medical condition. Intentional weight loss is commonly referred to as slimming.
Intentional weight loss is the loss of total body mass as a result of efforts to improve fitness and health, or to change appearance through slimming. Weight loss in individuals who are overweight or obese can reduce health risks] increase fitness, and may delay the onset of diabetes. It could reduce pain and increase movement in people with osteoarthritis of the knee. Weight loss can lead to a reduction in hypertension (high blood pressure), however whether this reduces hypertension-related harm is unclear.

Weight loss is achieved by adopting a lifestyle in which fewer calories are consumed than are expended. According to the UK National Health Service this is best achieved by monitoring calories eaten and supplementing this with physical exercise.

Depression, stress or boredom may also contribute to weight increase, and in these cases, individuals are advised to seek medical help. A 2010 study found that dieters who got a full night’s sleep lost more than twice as much fat as sleep-deprived dieters.

Though hypothesized that supplementation of vitamin D may help, studies do not support this. The majority of dieters regain weight over the long term.

According to the Dietary Guidelines for Americans those who achieve and manage a healthy weight do so most successfully by being careful to consume just enough calories to meet their needs, and being physically active.

  15. Sir,

I am in my 2nd Year MBBS, mid of 4th semester.. I am confused whether to go for USMLE or to go for NEET-PG. I am inclined towards Learning in U.S. so as to have higher expertise and skills.; But at the same time, I don't want to withdraw myself from NEET-PG preparations because of the fact that getting into Residency in U.S. is out of the common. Also my financial conditions are not that strong. I am already in a Private Medical college, CCMMC, Durg, Chhattisgarh with an annual fee of around 7 lakhs. But by the time of my Internship, we can gather the amount of 10-12lacs.

Sir, I want to know , Is there any "in between" solution for this? Because I dont want my USMLE preparations to affect my NEET-PG preparations. So I was thinking if I should focus only on STEP1 for now and then as per the score of STEP1 ,decide if I can stop preparing for NEET altogether and spend my time and money alone on USMLE.

I can't stay out of India for more than 6-7 years. So Can I get back India and directly write superspeciality-exam to pursue cardiology?

Is going for Usmle a risk? as getting Residency is tough… What happens to those who couldn't clear it.. What if they dont call you, or you are getting rejected again and again..? Though you have a very decent score.

Sir, I am ready to give my 100% for USMLE preparation, and I am confident about my scores. But the thing is, our money and NEET preparation will both be at total risk.

  16. 👉Comment with which of the 7 Are you going to apply. Hopefully ALL OF THEM👍
