http://www.builtlean.com – Busy New Yorker Eric Mandelkern dramatically transformed his body with BuiltLean. Check out the full interview on BuiltLean.com.
ERIC: Hey, my name’s Eric Mandelkern,
about seven months ago, actually today, it was April 29
and it was a Sunday afternoon,
and I was watching the Nicks-Celtics
in the playoffs.
At my urban little body, and decided to bring in
and I took down about four 12 inch subs
throught the entire day by myself,
and I woke up the next morning,
and I was puking, I stepped on the scales,
230 pounds, I felt like complete crap,
you know, I decided I needed to make a
change in my life,
and I went to my brother, and kinda heart
to heart with my brother,
told him I wasn’t happy with the way I felt,
my health, my body, my appearance, everything
my confidence was down, and he mentioned that
Mark had been in the business
and a professional in this category for
a while, in actually a company called
BuiltLean, hooked me up with Mark,
and then I went.
I’m 50 pounds lighter, I started working
with Mark, and Jessica,
uh, shortly after that, and I completely
changed the way I ate,
my work outs are constantly challenging,
engaging at the same time, work hard,
work our butts off every day, our program
changed every eight weeks,
so it didn’t plateau,
we’re consistently getting stronger,
and the workouts are consistently getting
harder, some might think that
as the workouts go on they just get easier,
but that’s the opposite, as you get stronger
they may get more intense, and more challenging
every time I come in,
I can honestly see the change in my body,
and the fat burning off,
and it’s amazing to see.
You are gonna see changes. You might not see them
in a day or two,
but if there’s anybody that’s gonna beside yourself
it’s gonna help you, it’s gonna be Jess.
I changed my mind set, and it took a little bit,
the first couple of months are the hardest,
but once you get over that hump, it’s the
best feeling in the world.
I used to not being able even to look to myself
in the mirror, take my shirt off,
it was completely embarrassing.
We going family vacations, to the beach,
I’d go to vacation bachelor parties,
with my friends, and I wanted to leave
my shirt on. Or wear a tank top,
because I felt completely embarrassed
in front of girls,
in front of everybody. Even my friends,
even my guy friends.
Now, I can’t keep my shirt on, look at my,
I have my shirt at the moment.[Mark laughs]
So, you know, that’s really what inspired me.
I wasn’t happy with myself
and I needed to make a change in my life.
