I want Virtual Boy on the eShop for 3ds: Take the rare good games like Wario Land for the Virtual Boy, colorize them and put them on there. I'm telling you, I would love to play Wario Land VB on my 3ds.

OR…. release 4 games a month from each past system. Every month you get an NES game, SNES game, 64 game and a gamecube game.

We could get Gameboy and Gameboy advance games instead of GameCube and N64.

And what will be the first FREE Nintendo Switch game if they did this. My bet is "1-2-Switch" the game that should've been free from the start.

It’s likely not going to happen, the N64 and GameCube would be too expensive and the game selection without Rare isn’t going to sell the system the same way NES and SNES classic did. It’s better to make those games available for the Switch, I want to play those games portable on the Switch!

They should bring virtual console back (like what they did with the Wii U). Otherwise people are going to homebrew /tweak other consoles and play them there or use an emulator on pc or mobile.

    Emulators are a thing…….
who am I kidding, people who are into that old hardware are too old to know what technology is,
thats why these "classic" consoles sell lol

    (January 14, 2019 - 9:48 pm)

imagine it being like the virtual console, you have to buy the snes games BUT they are not available from the start. you get 3 games to buy each month, sometimes even just 2.

Start asking for more online services with Nintendo and watch the price go up.

Even if an N64 Classic and GameCube Classic systems were coming, do you really think that Nintendo would just flat out say that it is?
    Just think people.
Of course there's a chance that it will or will not.
    Only Nintendo knows.
Instead of worrying about if things like this will come, how about talking about what Nintendo will be doing with the Switch instead?

I say they go to a weekly scheduele rather than monthly.
One game per system per week
    Monday: NES
    Tuesday: SNES
    Wednesday: N64
    Thursday: Gamecube

The Switch isn't going to be able to run Gamecube games…there's no way. Even if it could, they wouldn't give them away for free on their online service. They would have to port the games and you would end up paying $20 – $30 for each one. Nintendo likes money.

Anything that makes me money works. But if you continue to pay Switch Online you might see those games. And in return you make more money.

    (January 14, 2019 - 9:48 pm)

Not thinking so. I am thinking cartridge collections with controllers. There would be no need to discontinue the nes and snes again if they plan on making n64 and game cube classics. They would want all on the market at the same time.

I never grew up playing N64 games, so I think a classic system would be the perfect way to introduce myself to it. WHY DOESN'T NINTENDO WANT MY MONEY?!

I might get the N64 Classic IF it has Star Wars Shadow of the Time, Rouge Squadron, Pod Racer, Turok, Doom and Zelda Ocarina of Time on it.

    mpforeverunlimited

    (January 14, 2019 - 9:48 pm)

The N64 is definitely retro now, and maybe even the gamecube. A lot of time has passed since the nes classic and the definition of retro isn't the same. The switch and xbox x coming out have raised the bar a bit for what can be considered retro

What you said about how to improve the online service: YES! If they just copy their competitors, their console won't feel like it's "behind" the others

If the game cube comes with Skys of Arcadia then it would.be worth it just for that. Otherwise I wouldn't get it.

Uuuuuhhhhh…… The NES and SNES classics weren't released in 2014. NES in 2016 and SNES in 2017, by which time the Switch was already out. Rich, you need to read twice before making videos.
