I know that former cricketers as commentators, can do constructive criticism of a player if he gets out playing a bad shot but Yousuf Pathan saying that he would have dropped Livingstone from the squad next year if he was the coach of Punjab because he smiled after getting out is certainly a cheap statement.Pathan had probably forgotten 2 things: First that Livingstone in the last match scored a brilliant 94 and brought Punjab back into the game from nowhere and secondly that his own failure rate was so high in ipl that he would fail to score even 30 runs in 11 out of 14 games getting out playing a bad shot.

PBKS bowlers didn't have well-defined roles this season, the phase when each of their bowlers Sam, Rabada, and Arshdeep come to bowl is not fixed. Sometimes Sam bowls the first over and sometimes Arshdeep. In that case, you can't expect the bowlers to deliver their best. And Rabada has been in and out of the playing XI which makes it tough for him to perform consistently. It is sad, Rabada is a champion bowler and PBKS should've dealt with him in a better way. Also, it has become common nowadays to not bowl a left hand off spinner when there is a left hander on the crease, which should stop. Harpreet Brar doesn't even get an over to bowl due to this reason.
Shikhar dhawan is below average captain and he is getting older also so don’t know why punjab went for him as a captain rather than going for some young guys like Sam curran who has bright future anyway from next season definitely some other guy will need to be appointed as a captain
