I have been watching Mitchell Starc for many years and a few years ago, he used to be my favourite fast bowler but I must say that he looks so ordinary in almost 8 out of every 10 matches. He gives far too many slot balls, half volleys, leg stump half volleys and easy singles even in test cricket.There are so many matches where I have seen him conceding runs at 5+ even in tests and it is not like he consistently picks 3 or 4 wickets in an innings giving that many runs which makes a captain's job really tough as to how he should use him.
