If we let the anti-abortion lawmakers restrict our right to travel to other states for abortions it would be a violation of our constitutional right to travel that sets a dangerous precedent. An infringement of constitutional right like that would spell the end of America being the "land of the free". I can think of a few countries in which people are not permitted to travel freely where people will go to great lengths risking their lives in order to escape oppression by their government.
A state can't enforce their laws outside of their jurisdiction. These fanatical pro-life lawmakers are just going to have to accept that women will go elsewhere to receive medical treatment. Any government employee who wastes time trying to put criminal charges on someone for actions committed in another state, where their actions are perfectly legal, should be fired for wasting the government's time.
