A 12-year-old is being accused of robbing a Michigan gas station clerk at gunpoint with police catching him less than five minutes later, hiding between two buildings. NBC News’ Steven Romo reports how the boy claimed the heist wasn’t about the money.

For someone to commit armed robbery, which is a felony, the public should see his face and know his name. Who cares if he is a juvenile. His records shouldn't be sealed either. He shouldn't be able to own any firearm for the rest of his life now. I feel bad for the clerk that is just doing her job and had to deal with this situation.
Parents, don't open your gun safes in front of your kids if you don't want them to know the combination. My dad opened his gun safe when I was a lot younger than this kid and I memorized the combination and later opened it up just because I was curious and wanted to check out the gun.

This is why guns should be inaccessible to anyone under 21. If you can't drink yet, you should have access to a gun. If you're a parent that has accessible guns, you should go to jail if your gun is used in a crime. You should only be allowed to handle or discharge a weapon in the presence of your legal guardian until you're 21. Like a learner's permit. Or our current alcohol laws. This is totally ridiculous.
