Clovis Hung, who started college at just 9 years old, became the youngest person ever to graduate from California’s Fullerton College. He was awarded five associate of arts degrees. KNBC’s Macy Jenkins reports.

  1. i'm not impressed. having an education is pointless tho'. so many people regret college and find it fruitless. even if you went to college and are smart, you can still not get a good job, and still end up homeless.

  2. Nice work, my man 🤙🏻

  3. He shouldn’t have to pay student loans IF he has any until 18.

  4. Congratulation, wish you have a great life ahead of you.

  5. That's amazing, such of inspiration

  6. meh… sounds impressive, till he listed down a bunch of useless degrees. the most useful one is the sci & math. Even then the most he could use it for is be a math teacher. But good for him nonetheless, explored a bunch of degrees when he's young so doesn't have to do it during his crucial years. press F for the ones taking arts and social science when they're adult.

  7. I was reading the thumbnail in disbelief. What an amazing kid!!!

  8. Thats awesome, change the world Kid.. but also enjoy your time here, it goes fast..

  9. Im going to throw this out their but I keep reading does this kid even kid or have a childhood . Yes as you can see this is his child hood, when you have lived in different countries, children are always studying trying to improve themselves and when it is time to have fun then it is time to have fun.
    Lets destroy this lazy stereotype.

  10. He's just beginning his Johnny Sins arc. Astronaut, doctor, firefighter…

  11. “He loves to study, he loves it so much that’s all he’s allowed to do.”

  12. Steven gonna be compared to this long lost cousin.

  13. Clearly Fullerton College has lowered the bar so low , there is NO Bar .

  14. That amazing 🤩. That i respect 💗

  15. I'm genuinely happy for this boy and his mother. He seems well-adjusted and enjoying his endeavors. 🙂Congratulations to this young man and his mom. May you both enjoy good health, happiness and, continued success. 🤲🏽😊❤👍🏽👨🏻👩🏻

  16. Good to see such a young person make the most out of his time.

  17. He wanted to be in college because he was curious "at a young age"? He still is at his young age

  18. mark my word, he will become an asian american president

  19. I am not impressed. Because he sounds like a robot. Being told what to do. After all he is 12 years old. A pre-teen. Starting puberty & all. Not an adult yet. He cannot think for himself. Not surrounded by kids his age. Typical crap of Asian parents living through their children. Just because they didn't make their own dreams come true. I know this kid will struggle alot with life itself. Once he is a young adult. Not academically of course. Don't get it twisted. Gotta let kids be kids. Seriously, your child is not money making machine or some trophy for display. Because of your own failures in life.

  20. That is just some asian thing

  21. Impressive. But what's the point of five associate degrees? Try an associate, bachelor's, master's, and Ph.D. I'll be looking out for you in the future.

  22. Confucius would be proud of him to become a scholar of 5 degrees with education.

  23. Congrats to him, but I’m concerned for his mental and social health. He’s missing out on making friends his own age and experiencing the things that preteens and teenagers do with their peers

  24. Asian parents showing off their kids be like:

  25. I'm Chinese and I pray my parents will never find this video

  26. Notice there are no of these prodigies making waves as an adult? They are forced to mature quickly by their parents. They don't have childhoods. Their motivations are not their own but external. When they realize this and can escape their parents, they will go elsewhere.

  27. Just the average Asian.

  28. Jobs will be like cant hire you have no experience

  29. Cool story, but your only a kid for about 15 years. Why develope so quickly?
Cant help but think about kids i knew in highschool who maxed out young. Whats the rush? So he can hang around older bitter working adults.🎉 Congratulations hope im wrong and you surpass elan musk.

  30. Congratulations to him!

  31. At 12 wow that's impressive. I'm guessing he's a prodigy. I hope he still has time to be a kid.

  32. He's just another unit being pumped out prematurely and calling them "gifted". This my son is what capitalism and soul sucking does to a human. An "gifted" intelligent child being bent over for their corporate masters.

  33. Inspirational. I’m mad my community college highly discouraged me going for a dual degree, meanwhile Clovis out here with five degrees. I am going to bring this link to a meeting with them Monday morning because. Why Clovis gets to have five degrees when I can only have one. Go ‘head Clovis!!! 🥳

  34. My 9 year old nephew spends 30min looking for his other shoe….
