I've been watching alot of this since she's been released. She lead a horrific life because of her mothers sickness. Now she's a celebrity (just like she's been trained to be) because she's out and free. She's loving every minute of this. She knew there was nothing wrong with her near the end of her "captivity" and knew she had to escape. She planned it meticulously – and got Nick Godejohn involved to do the "dirty work". This guy is severely autistic, and she used sex and manipulation to get him to do the deed. He clearly didn't have the intelligence tools to do anything but fall for it. Now, we're all celebrating Gypsy's freedom – well deserved for the horrible prison of her former life with Mother – but, what about Nick? She doesn't seem to care at all about how she set him up to spend the REST of his life – without parole – in prison for what she convinced him to do. She learned how to manipulate people from her mother. I saw an interview where she was almost bragging about the fact that she couldn't be charged as an accessory to murder in the state where it happened – almost like she had to know that ahead of time. Gypsy is one smart cookie. I think Nicks conviction needs to be revisited. Especially due to his mental deficiency. She used the heck out of him, and doesn't care at all about the life SHE ruined. Only cares about being a celebrity. Just like her mom.

This needs to be taken more seriously. I was not even going to bother discussing this case. But my friend suffered at the hands of her mother like Gypsy did. It is a very controversial topic.
As a person who has lived in Springfield for 15 years, it’s annoying to hear some of these people. Especially the sherif who put on a huge show for the cameras, it’s quite ridiculous. 🙈

This girl was abused, manipulated, and brainwashed by her narcissistic, manipulative, psychotic mother for years!! The system failed this child as well as the doctors and hospitals who knew the symptoms of Muchausen By Proxy Syndrome and did absolutely NOTHING to stop it!! If they called CPS and CPS dismissed the case, call again!! Like ya'll would on innocent people!! This girl felt trapped, like she had no other choice because there were people who knew, speculated, wondered, and just down right knew!! And as for the father, he could've done more legally to see, find, and rescue his child!! He asked her mother what conditions does she has now? So he knew too! People say free Nick, well hey you realize that he could said no and called cops. He did not. He is do his time.. Should he went to jail probly to a mental health facility.
