This is the 212th mass shooting in the United States in 2022. 17,112 people in the US have been killed by guns so far in 2022. 139 children under the age of 12 have been killed by guns in the US in 2022. 505 teenagers in the US have been killed by guns in 2022. 23 US law enforcement officers have been killed by guns in 2022.
How many mass shootings, how many deaths, how many children and teens killed, how many law enforcement officers killed will be enough for the US to join every other first world country and enact effective gun control laws? How many deaths will it take? How many children murdered? How many grieving parents? How many police officers' funerals? When will the majority of Americans stand up to the small minority of gun fundies and say "Enough is enough. It is now time for effective gun control laws. If you don't like those laws, move elsewhere. We refuse to accept the massive annual carnage of gun deaths in order for you to enjoy your little toys?"
