I cannot understand it. I had two kids and would have never forget them. Some say it's because the person doesn't usually have the child and it's out of their routine…. I now have a 1 year old grand daughter that I do not "routinely" have in my car and when I do, she usually falls asleep and I still DO NOT forget she's in the car. For the parents this has happened to, I'm sorry but I don't understand. And no, I could not happen to anyone lady who claims she's an expert. Those poor babies
I wish people would stop acting like our parents didn't leave us in the car and at home. Yes times has changed but it is harder today and more stressful then ever and it got HOTTER. Technology is to blame, it's bitter sweet sn't it. It distracts us from our lives here together face to face.
this doesn't happen to anybody, it happens to parents who leave their kids inside cars.
I find it really hard to believe this shtt is accidental. I never left my kid in the car accidently. I have 3 they are 17,19, 21 now
Stupid parents.
It’s good that Tesla and other cars are trying to figure away to detect when there’s a kid left in the car. At the same time it’s a bit sad that we need a reminder not to forget our kids. R.I.P to all the angels that passed away.
Dang
I don’t agree at all that this could happen to anybody. You don’t leave your child unattended ever !! This is completely unacceptable !
I wish a study would be done on the egg & sperm donors to see how many times they've forgotten their phones somewhere. And then for How long B4 they realized it. Bc I would bet My Life on it that they keep better tabs on their phones than they do their Responsibility of their CHILDREN!!
I don’t even have a child and I check my car up and down. I make sure all my windows are up, make sure I turned everything off, make sure I gathered all my things, I make sure I locked up my car, I make sure I’m inside the lines when I parked my car, I check both sides of the car from the outside, then I go inside. It could be a Monday or a Friday, day or night time, work or home. And if you forget a whole child, it should be momentary, not hours before you realize it. It’s disturbing!
I don't understand why parents left their child in their car. 🤷🤦
I just purchased a Honda and it alerts me to check the backseat everytime I put the car in park
Parents aren't perfect. But at least try to be. 🤨
Why people why
Not the best but just saying I got forgot in groceries stores not a cat never a car!
Don't leave the children behind.
Between gun violence and oblivious parents, I feel bad for the kids living in the States…
I have a idea, tape cell phones on Children's car seat and this will never happen again
No I don't this can happen to everyone. You don't leave children in a locked car. I thought everyone knew that.
My new Subaru actually reminds me to check back seat when I turn off the engine. ALL cars should have this Life Saving feature! NOT as an Expensive extra charge accessory.
Yo I went to the river and I decided to take a nap in my car. It was like 94 degrees Fahrenheit. I had to roll down all my windows and even my seats were hot.
why haven't we created sensors in baby seats, child seats & backseats like we have for when we dont have our seatbelts on or pressure sensors for when theres no one in the passenger seat & the airbag doesnt turn on. WTH!!
Stop forcing mothers of young children to have to work!
Would people forget their phone if they put that in the back seat? Sadly I think people may remember this more than a child but put something in the back that forces you to go back there or maybe put the diaper bag in the front seat as your reminder that you have precious cargo on board.
Maybe radio morning shows can take 2 secs to remind their viewers to check their back seat on their drive to work/school etc
How about they create an app? That fixes everything.
0:32 spelt Pittsburgh wrong.
Nope lady I disagree 100% this cannot just happen to anyone at any time! This is not like a health condition that you have no control over! Why would the parents get arrested then?? Because its negligence!!! I’m nowhere near a great parent I make many many mistakes but heck no I’m not gonna leave my kids in the car heck no!!
They have been distracted by phones
I raised two sons, in Orlando Florida, never did I leave them in the car, I will get them out of the car first, before the groceries, back then I don’t have a cell phone, when I got to my apartment, the radio was turned off, and I would tell my children get out of the car, or I get them out myself when they were babies. I was never distracted when it came to my children. Children are the most precious in the world, they are a blessing from God. I can’t imagine how anybody can forget their child is in the car especially if they’re a little ones. The first thing a parent should do or grandparent, or guardian, is to look around in the car before they even get out. totally sure, that children are not in the vehicle.
People have become far too distracted and on autopilot.
How about Volvo's heartbeat detector from years ago that would alert the driver of someone in the vehicle as they approached, via their key fob?
Sounds like an updated version of that tech being developed.
A shame we need 'any' tech. to prevent this.
🙄🤨
"From that time Jesus began to preach, and to say, Repent: for the kingdom of heaven is at hand." Matthew 4:17
"Ye have heard that it hath been said, An eye for an eye, and a tooth for a tooth: But I say unto you, That ye resist not evil: but whosoever shall smite thee on thy right cheek, turn to him the other also." Matthew 5:38-39,
I’m glad I don’t have children. I feel like there’s already not enough time. Can’t Imagine juggling all that. Super sad.
