I won't say that Pujara is underrated but he still is not given enough credit and appreciation that he deserves.To me, test cricket is not only about scoring big runs or centuries, what matters the most in tests is scoring runs in tough conditions, against tough bowlers and most importantly runs(even if a 30 run knock) that help team win test matches and Pujara has done all of that.Virat is by far my most favourite player but even if I exclude his last 3 years in tests, most of his centuries in SENA countries resulted in draws and losses(not his fault really) and he sometimes scored double centuries against weak teams like SL, Bangladesh and West indies.Pujara is way more impactful test batsman than Virat.
