A 3-year-old boy hit and killed his 7-year-old brother while driving a golf cart in Florida. Officials are investigating the incident. WBBH’s Sarah Metts reports.

since its florida either the 3yr old should be charged with murder & then he can claim stand my ground defense as the 7yr old was a threat….

While this happened on private property, children are allowed to drive golf carts all the time, particularly in golfing and mobile home communities. Grandma and grandpa and mom and dad think its cute. They never consider liability issues. Some seem to know what they're doing as they navigate around. Others drive too fast. A 3 year old? Really? Someone was negligent. The cops will gloss this over. I don't expect any charges to the adults who allowed this nor will child protective services be involved. See how little media attention this has garnered? Police are hoping this will fade away, they feel these people lost a kid why bring charges?

i vividly remember being two and three years old. he's going to remember it, and what he doesn't remember, he'll never stop hearing about it.
at best the adults around them were negligent. what a horrible thing to have happen. i hope that little boy who passed away wasn't in too much pain.
At some point the family must have taught/ encouraged the child or children to drive the golf cart. Why were the keys left in it? Where were the adults?

When parents with a combined mental acuity of a three year old decide it's a good idea to let a child drive.. Because no price is too high for a dumb stunt.

It's not my news outlet, but if it was, I would not run this story until details (regarding how a toddler sat in a golfcart's driver side and put his feet on the gas) are known. Sorry.

In short, the 3-year-old was going putt-putt on the golf cart and ended up putting a hole in one.

The newscasters were questioning the "whereabouts of the seven-year-old at the time he was struck." – What about the parents? They finally got around to that, but, geez!!
What kind of parent doesn't watch a three year old. There is something definitely wrong with parenting in America.

The total amount of stupidity in this State is unbelievable. Every year toddlers drown in some body of water or are roasted in the back seat of a car, so much STUPID!!
