Forty days after their plane crashed in the Amazon jungle, four children were found alive. NBC News’ Marissa Parra has the details on the weeks-long search effort for the children, who are between the ages of 11 months and 13 years old, and the rescue on Friday.

I read that the dog, Winston, had been in the childrens' company for a couple of days and then left, according to their (the children's) reports. This is a truly uplifting story all around.
