Seven California officers and a nurse are now facing involuntary manslaughter charges after a man died in their custody in 2020. Why is the Nurse getting charged? Unless the man didn't have a pulse during that 13 minute wait period, they can't start CPR. CPR is started when there is no pulse. You can't do chest compression on someone with a pulse.
