That Thursday storm was a doozy here in Jacksonville. I waited an hour to leave the office but still had to drive home in some of it. Didnโt realize there were all those tornadoes just to the north.

Saddens me to see any natural disasters. Obviously climate change is occuring severely impacting closer to home these days on top of dangerous hurricanes. My question to everyone, who is preparing more these days than ever before? I know i am for my families safety while trying to assist others when possible. We all should be working together now of days .

I think god figured out we are trying to extend are lives and now we are paying for it we keep playing with forces we donโt understand and thereโs a reason for it
Tornadoes, stinking sea plants, old farts that act like Christian Talibans pushing "Florida Jesus" control and hate on women, kids and minorities (NOT a good or decent guy!), and global warming hitting that place like a sledge hammer… They can change all of the laws they want, they'll STILL end up half dried-up by the new heat waves, half flooded by rising water, and utterly ravaged by natural disasters.
It's also going to become a test bed for new pandemics. The young kids are going to leave once they get hit with the DeSantis control laws, and the old retirees living in single story bungalows unfit for families, will be left alone to face high heat, humidity, and all sorts of problems, like crumbing buildings, sink holes, weather events, infestations from LOTS of creepy crawlers and sliders and predators, and the PERFECT PETRI DISH to grow all kinds of pathogens.
I can just see all of those "small government" MAGAts yelling for Federal money and help, AFTER telling the rest of the USA to go suck on their "woke" lives and let them be born-again Fascists in their sunny , but BIGOTED State. Texas is ALREADY used to the desert life, so they have a head start in survivability in the new Southern climate of North America, but they don't have the electrical grid to support a rise in A/C, so no luck there either… Arizona is 3/4 built on empty water tables, so NOT suitable for human settlement, and California is getting either flooded by torrents of mud, or goes through a once a century drought, every 3 years. NOT an optimal outcome.
All of those ranting Dixie nutcases will HAVE to move North in a few years. Imagine the friction THAT will generate…
