The pilot of the F-35 fighter jet that was missing in South Carolina is heard on 911 audio, moments after he ejected from the aircraft to safety. NBC News’ Blayne Alexander reports on what we know about the pilot’s injuries and the jet, which was ultimately found in a field.

That's crazy. He ejected but the plane flew another 80 miles. The plane could have crashed into a building, onto a highway… anywhere.

The 911 dispatchers questions are ludicrous. Maybe she thought it was a prank call. But still, stick to whats important and just send an ambulance.

911 dispatchers are almost as disgraceful as cops are.. excuse me policy overseers illegal policy and ordinance overseers.

they didn't play the whole recording, if you listen to the entire recording, the 911 dispatcher is extremely incompetent and inefficient making the pilot repeat himself over and over.

Dispatcher did a fantastic job. They are trained to keep people talking and like anyone else, they ask people to repeat when they can’t hear/understand what the caller is saying. They also are in a room full of noise as other dispatchers are taking calls too. Trolls just like to complain and whine about anything they can.
