Race, Culture, Religion faith, physical characteristics image. People experience harassment and insults and bullying. It happens. Sure it is WRONG and it shouldn't happen but it happens. Highest of hopes these people as any people who experience it, come to understand that it is NOT personal, that the offense is intended toward the war invasion and that they are able to try to take the high road conveying that they are not the same as that which is being expressed in hate. The only means by which to counter hate is knowledge and actions of love with an actual change, if there is that hope. If it is impossible to achieve it might need to be faced.

Of course these businesses have nothing to do with the war, and they should not be vandalised. But if I were a lover of Russian food watching Russia destroying ukraine, I too would switch to pizza or paella. These pathetic people are complaining about losing some business! Very soon people in Africa will actually starve to death because of the disruption to wheat exports from Ukraine.

I have had nothing but positive experiences with Russian immigrants. There are good people behind the new Iron Curtain as well as living abroad as immigrants. You can say "Ukraine has it worse!" all day long but that still doesn't make what these people are going through justifiable in any capacity.

My wife is from Lugansk. She has Ukrainian and Russian relatives and friends. She is talking to them every day, cell service still working. None of these people hate each other. This war is due to a dictator named Putin who controls all aspects of Russia. A Communist former KBG agent who wants the Soviet Union back. To those who want to be violent, I don't see you going to join the the Ukrainian foreign fighters. I am a disabled combat veteran, Marine. I know what reality is. Those who run their moths and act tough never show up . Leave those who immigrated for a better life alone, take your hate somewhere else.

This is ignorant people at work. The Russians who emigrated here have voted with their feet and rejected the Soviet/Russia system. They are good people, I've worked with Russian immigrant employees and they are a fun loving bunch, most of them hate the Soviet system to the core.
