JetBlue and Alaska Airlines say they don’t have the staff to fly their upcoming schedule. JetBlue is proactively trimming its schedule throughout the busy summer travel season by almost 150 flights per day. Bad weather has added to JetBlue’s problems in the past week, forcing some flights to divert to other airports. Ticket prices are also increasing as fewer airline seats are available, and jet fuel prices are higher.

Last flights going out at 10pm in DFW, leaving hundreds of passengers stranded. Maybe CEO’s can take pay cuts so American Airlines can have money to use all the planes parked up and off the ground
My flight was delayed since it didnt leave texas to cancun on time.while we waited in can cun we knew we would not make the connecting flight once we got to DFW to Las Vegas. Got a text from American Airlines that connecting flight was delayed and we would still make it. Got to DFW waited in line to board only to find out they had changed us to fly out next day at 3 pm. Anither line for customer service to find out they moved us to 5:30pm . Had to pay for transportation to and from airport and overnight hotel stay . Now we find out we are on standby for 5:30 pm . This also happened to whole lot of other passengers and pilots trying to board connecting flights. Need stricter federal laws for compensation to passengers, there was no weather problems just overbooking.
I don't know why anybody goes through the hassle to fly these days. It used to be fun.

Corporate greed, plain and simple. Airlines are scheduling more flights than they have employees to handle. Many airlines are trimming this summer's schedule, not Delta though. Big story in four months will be the total meltdown of Delta in the summer of 2022 due to Management greed and stubborn incompetence. They just will not listen to their employees. So preventable…
