The black players hold all the power if they stand together, but they won't smh
Advocacy knows no limits.
The NFL, and sports in general, is the last bastion of preferential hiring. Players are hired on sheer ability, regardless of representation in the population. The issue cannot be one of numbers.
Coaches are retained primarily on the complex set of criteria that comprise winning. As with quarterbacks, there are not enough proven winners to go around. The only valid test is the acid test. The initial hiring is done by feel, and often fumbled.
I cannot summarize the criteria comprising a winning head coach. As an aside, my criteria comprising a winning quarterback are four. He stays in the pocket, notches up first downs, retains possession and stays healthy.
It is an obvious fallacy of logic to decide any issue on the basis of a sole criterion. The issue cannot be one of numbers.
Huge Jackson is example of color over talent. He got his jobs because he is Black, over other more talented people. His record is evidence.
Stop saying Bills are minority owned. She is wife of White owner who actually had the money to buy team.
If Black people want to become head coaches, they should act like the people who are doing the hiring. It is life and business. I am POC and understand. My parents owned a few business and they want to hire people who look like them and even gave them more chances. End of day, if you avoid best people for sake of color, you will fail. Reality is that vast majority of coaches are white and it will stay that way forever…70-80% of country is white. Get over this and just enjoy rich big men hitting eachother.
It happens in sports, in the military, politics,…life in the U.S.A. historically & still. Sad but true, the elephants in the rooms

The NFL only following the template that the nation gave them…we dare not speak on the root of it all…the unseen enemy…???
Just because your black or white that makes you a good coach. Just like the Oscars. Just because your black doesn't in title you too a reward. And when you don't you call it RACIST… Give me a Break. Half the player's are getting in trouble one way or another. Do the White players in the spot lite for Thier crime's. How many football players got a free pass to Thier crimes.. There's so many of them. Can't list them all.
The NFL is RIGGED.
You notice they never talk about the only non black hispanic coach. There is no native American coaches or Asian coaches. But there have been 25 blacks in NFL history.
