Officials confirmed that the operator made manual adjustments to the ride that killed a teen in Florida. Nikki Fried, Florida Commissioner of Agriculture, said a report confirmed the adjustments made the ride unsafe. Fried noted that there are many other potential contributing factors that may have played a role in the incident. The drop tower-style ride will remain closed indefinitely.

So did he make the adjustment prior OR in that moment when he noticed Tyre getting on the ride, which he could visibly see the kid was overweight and shouldn't have been allowed to ride. Either way that move goes against ALL the rules and guidelines that resulted in a death. Who could be that stupid and careless. When it comes to that type of business, there are no shortcuts, meaning NO ROOM FOR ERROR, honestly there shouldn't even be a way for you to do an adjustment, period. There could be an emergency unlock on the chair itself in case someone get's stuck in it, other than that no manual adjustments allowed.
This is why I don't trust ride, they're operated and xied by humans and umns are not perfect

I'm sorry but I feel that the operator and the owners of this ride should be responsible for this young man 😢💔 there are rules and guidelines for a reason and they failed to comply with the rules resulting in this terrible heartbreaking tragedy 😢💔
My heart is so broken for this young man and his family I just can't even imagine what they are going through 😢💔🤬
R.I.H YOUNG MAN 😢💔💙
I have a feeling the family of that young boy that was tragically killed is going to come into a lot of money because of this that Park is going to lose a lot of money because of this because they're going to have to pay that family I'm so sorry for that family though that is really a tragedy and I know that no amount of money can ever replace their son grandson brother Uncle etc but at least the ride has shut down indefinitely
Very bad people, killed a human being. What goes around comes around. Murderers ❗
Without having heard earlier descriptions of the incident, it sounds from this that the operator had tried to adjust the safety restraint to fit a larger-than-expected person?
I'm glad they found out what happened.
This is sad all the way around! You would have thought that 100% safety was a set protocol since he’s not the first one to fall off a ride. It has happened before and the investigators always say we want to get to the facts so it doesn’t happen again! Well it happened again! Some carnival owners/operators even went to jail over unsafe acts. What is the deterrent to make these companies more responsible? Raking in millions, but wont hire qualified workers. Then allow them to make adjustments! Culpable Negligence from top to bottom!
She forgot to mention that the operator is going to jail and will pay a hefty settlement fee.
Should not of allowed the over sized kid to get on ride in the first place
Adjusting safety limits, what could go wrong?
The operator wanted to see that big boy crap his pants. Any video of him being loaded…..?
Whats the world coming to when you cant trust a carnie?
They are looking to blame the lowest guy on the totem pole.
If fat shamming was still acceptable this kid would be alive. "sorry kid you're too heavy" Is all it would have taken to save this kids life. But you can't tell people that they're fat anymore, not even to save their life
Wonder if his boss just demanded the ride be running. Like truck drivers who work for repair-optional companies. It's not like this one guy owns the ride. Tragic all the same
YouTube company don’t allow people using YouTube apps because they had been filming since years ago 2000-2022 about people used to get them selves in trouble same as kids age using GOanimate for schools Vyond filming about cartoon characters abuse with violence using guns killing
Everyday is judgement day how do you and I One man or woman in the flesh know when then
ride operator is 100% at fault and should be charged for the kids death. to unplug a safety feature is nuts.
Hebrews 3:4
King James Version
4 For every house is builded by some man; but he that built all things is God.
Unfortunately the Math book that has all of the technical formulas needed has been banned in Florida.
The question remains: Was the Operator made fully aware of all these details regarding the ride he was putting people on, and operating the controls?
