The poor kid was crying because he was lost. He didn't know where he lived. How was he going to find his way home without help? He told a cop he was lost and asked for help. The cop told him 'Don't worry, son, it'll be okay, we'll figure out where you live and drive you home. Hop in the car and we'll put your bike in the back.'
I know his peoples! CLASSIC!
In addition to everything else wrong with this video, cops REALLY need to learn to stop putting their fingers/hands in people's faces when they're copsplaining. Incredibly disrespectful.

Honestly, I don't think I've ever seen a kid arrested like this before. Usually the store holds them & calls the cops & parents & then a discussion is held. Never seen a kid hauled off over a bag of chips. Ever. Seems a bit extreme. Plus, cops aren't allowed to question minors without the presence of parents.

UPDATE: (According to NewsChannel 9 WSYR Syracuse) Since this incident took place, the boy who was not charged or arrested in this incident, but was simply escorted home, is now facing criminal charges for a separate incident in which he allegedly stole a bike. I guess he didn't learn his lesson.
They cops should have called the guy out on the money . I bet he did not have a dime to his name .
