NBC News is exploring solutions in the special series “The Climate Challenge” with a focus on capturing and storing carbon dioxide. In the past, CO2 was either stored underground or in trees, but a new technology allows the gas to be injected and deposited into concrete, keeping it out of the atmosphere.

There is no storing CO2, we just have to STOP PRODUCING HUGE AMOUNTS OF IT. How can we be so stupid and selfish? This planet belongs to our children and future generations, not foolish old men trading shares, drinking whiskey in private clubs and yachts, starting wars that they send children to fight, decimating forests, poisoning rivers and lakes, all because of GREED.

I love how they say this is "New Technology" but he says the company that invented the idea is from 2012, 8 years ago.
If ideas like this can be shown to work, it's a way better solution than forcing the common man to pay high prices for gas and for his electric bill. Don't cut energy supply or cut back drilling.

I just saw an image of a fancy coffee shop or restaurant, I think it’s building’s exterior wall is made of white marble and I think I saw black canvas. It’s a daytime image. I am worried it’s related to terror attacks.

Just as climate can be artificially warmed, it can be artificially cooled. But an effort required for it is immense and the United States is hardly the country most affected by it. In a way, submerging Florida might prove to be more of a cure than a curse. A little known fact, majority of China will be long under the water before Americans will have something to worry about. Building terraforming infrastructure shortly before that point and keeping it off until most of worlds' problems have solved themselves out is the reasonable thing to do. But having such cute 'concrete' solutions in the meantime is nice.
