I remember Mosfilm (a film studio during the soviet times) would always have a symbol of man and a woman holding a hammar and a sickle in a similar manner to this statue here. Of course I never loved most russian films, but some were pretty enjoyable so I tend to hold the imagery with some place in my memory.
