Who would re-elect DeSantis, after his bungling Disney deal? If DeSantis prevails on this issue with Disney, and Disney decides to move elsewhere (e.g. Texas), then Florida will suffer because of it.

Residents of Orange and Osceola Counties are aware that the issue here is that pursuant to the State's agreement with Disney. The FL governor should read the state's agreement before running his mouth and signing a bill he hasn't read. The special district was created to streamline the process of building infrastructure, such as roads, sewer lines, waterlines, etc. Without the special district, this cost would have been borne by the state of Florida because there was no local community to support this infrastructure by taxes. It’s not that Disney owes this money to anyone, it’s at the state owes this money to Disney.
Being broke because of inflation DeSantis would have my support.
