Average, national gasoline prices are up only: $1.02 from Jan. 2021, and inflation is at: 6.6% compared to 3.1% of Jan. 2021 due to Putin's war and lack of supply in a booming economy. Politicians live in a different world. Imagine if you went to work loudly running your mouth how bad management is and how terrible the company president is. You'd probably be fired. Doesn't happen in government. They have a job for years of turmoil to come for we the people. Also, the most money politicians make isn't from the salary paid by taxpayers but from PAC money, bribes, payoffs, and illegal donations average Americans never see. Politicians today can go into politics financially flat broke and hit millionaire status in under two years from that illegal money. Dysfunction at its finest it's gotten and is getting worse and won't change without we the people taking charge by force (voting doesn't work so forget that) to overhaul American government and constitution. It's the only way I can see to change our corrupt system.
