Want to have a little fun start keeping track of the taxes you pay. The payroll tax is just the tip of the iceberg. It is hard to calculate some taxes as they are hidden. All the taxes that are paid by manufactures have to be figured into the price you pay for goods and then on top of that you are taxed when you buy the product. I've seen estimates that with federal, state, country, and city taxes they take well over 50% of our income.
