About 39 years ago I was close to 13 weeks pregnant and had an abortion. Near the end of the abortion the nurse said 'O My God' and stared for about a minute then left the room. The doctor continued staring for about a minute or two longer. While staring he briefly placed his hand on my knee to try to reassure me. I saw they were in shock and knew they watched my baby die. I am pro life……for the person who BEARS the children because she and only she knows the true situation. I have personally seen and am currently watching a potential child abuse situation because the child was unwanted. What this unwanted child is learning is hate and intolerance because underneath it all, he is resented for his existence and he was born into poverty and ignorance. What chance does he have of growing up to be well adjusted? I will tell you. None. None at all. Short of a miracle.
If white men are going to decide the fate of women and what they can or cannnot do concerning their own bodies and their own fate (how many men do you know raising children?)….would it not be fair and just that if you choose to be one of those white men…you should pay some kind of forfeit? Like the removal of a certain organ that relates to pregnancy. Seems only fair.
This is a travesty. Woman having to repeatedly fight for rights to our own bodies. People can't understand that this may not be something you agree with but it is NOT ok to tell others what they can or can not do with their body. Woman were PROPERTY and in some countries still are. Woman didn't have the right to vote or have property. In the 80's woman were fighting to work so to not be dependant on a man. Yet a man can spread his seed far and wide with NO laws preventing that. And then Taking away Birth control?? What is the logic behind not allowing a woman to prevent pregnancy and not be allowed to rid herself if the pregnancy she didn't want. So women can't go have sex because we might get pregnant but Men can do whatever they like and WE are the ones that pay the price. We are going back in time instead of forward thinking. Maybe it time to start taking away Men's rights. How about sterilization at birth instead of a circumcision. It's easily reversed and pretty fair considering what men are putting women through. Fair is fair. Time for boys to get snip sniped. I bet this would improve teenage pregnancies.
They only care about the fetus but look the other way when the baby is here. Abortion restrictions will affect mostly the low income families. Soon these conservative states will be overwhelmed by families living in poverty, increased crime rate, children in foster care and everything that results in unwanted pregnancies.
