The company 3M is facing claims that a version of their product issued by the U.S. military to troops for more than 15 years was “dangerously” defective. Nearly 300,000 current and former service members are waiting for some form of accountability. NBC News’ Courtney Kube spoke with a veteran who is suing 3M, claiming he feels betrayed by the company’s alleged oversight.

Earplugs won't protect you from Artillery fire. The VA covers anything that happens when you're in service, so it's peculiar to see people suing a PPE product the government designed & gave them.
They should have all filed disability claims when they left service and if they haven't, they should ASAP.
I used to talk to my uncle who had been a gunner in the Canadian Artillary WWII Italy. I had to sit really close and speak really loud or he couldn't tell what I was saying.
