The Democrats have had control of the Congress AND the Presidency multiple times during the existence of Roe v. Wade and could have codified it into law multiple times but have never done so even though it has continually been under attack. They are using this to get votes in the midterms. The do nothing Dems only care about power and their own perverse agenda that benefits a limited few. They don’t care about the people as a whole. He is going to put forth something so extreme no sane person can vote for it- like abortions on demand up until birth- and then use it’s defeat to scaremonger the weak minded into voting Democratic in the midterms.. don’t fall for the okey doke.
Since Joe Manchin et al. is not willing to do his part to guarantee women's reproductive rights, I say get Lisa Murkowski and Susan Collins to sign on to making an exception to the filibuster for this specific piece of legislation. Biden may have to twist some arms, but if he does it, it might just be the greatest accomplishment of his presidency.
How about recognizing that women are intelligent?

It argues that bodily integrity is non-reducible to the principle of autonomy. Bodily integrity relates to the integration of the self and the rest of the objective world. A breach of it, therefore, is significantly different to inteference in decisions about your body. This explains why interference with bodily integrity requires justification beyond what will suffice for an interference with autonomy. It also explores how this understanding of bodily integrity assists in understanding disability, gender and separated bodily material

About 39 years ago I was close to 13 weeks pregnant and had an abortion. Near the end of the abortion the nurse said 'O My God' and stared for about a minute then left the room. The doctor continued staring for about a minute or two longer. While staring he briefly placed his hand on my knee to try to reassure me – I believe this was when my baby died but I can't remember for sure the timing. I saw they were in shock and knew they watched my baby die. My legs were draped so I could not see. Please read below of the extremely fast speed of fetal development.
Heart pumping blood day 21, brain waves day 40. see "Baby Center- Fetal Development Week By Week" which states on week 11 the baby can FEEL if the belly is gently poked on mom, is kicking and stretching, almost fully developed. Look at the pictures – the fetus looks like a developed baby. I was told at the appointment the fetus was just tissue – the same lie told today despite the advanced technology showing the truth. Bible – "You knitted me in my mother's womb". I believe abortion is socially accepted birth control taught by the powerful examples set by society.
