As a leader, I tried to make sure my scouts were always safe and had adult chaperones in tents because I remembered this. 💔
I couldn't believe it….they used the defense attorney's voice "I'll get that sob" while law enforcement et al searched for Gene Leroy Hart. Not a good start! In fact it sets up the entire project as ignorant. The dna wasn't a match if it wasn't a match.
My family owns the property where the camp is located. Thanks to Hulu for being a partner in this documentary. Rip to the Three.
I'm from this area. Locus Grove, Oklahoma. Gene is a relative of my brothers and sister.
Why would a killer come into the tent of a counselor, reach behind her head in the dark while she was sleeping to steal her glasses and guitar capo? Why would an outside killer attempt to clean blood from the tent floor? Why would an outside killer chase down the 3rd girl after she escaped the tent when she saw the 2 other little girls being beat unless the child knew the killer and could identify? Why would the killer then plant those stolen glasses not too far from the body? Why would the killer have to put the bodies in sleeping bags in the dark( to try and hide them) instead of leaving the bodies lay in the tent while they tried to clean up blood from the tent floor? I know all the answers to everything written above.
Heartbreaking!

I love you forever ♾
