Young people do mountains of stupid stuff and most times things work out but every once in a while someone doesn't make it.
We used to go to the beach with a large group, and inevitably someone would dig a hole. Never thought anything of it, until I saw a similar story like this. Now I try to spread the word about the dangers of these holes, especially since they are often abandoned by the digger, and people walking along the beach at night could fall in. They're also dangerous to first responders, who patrol the beaches in ATVs and on foot. So sad that a trip to the beach ends in tragedy. What a nightmare for the family.

Prayers for the Sister and the Family and Friends for Strength…just 2 young ppl trying to have fun….I know we aren't suppose to question God but at times like this I do with Monsters that are living among us that do things to kids and other Monsters that do wrong to adults..many seem to get away with it and sometimes never caught but 2 young ppl having what they thought was probably a great time at the beach in the sand until it wasn't..

NOT a freak accident, it happens all the time here in Hawaii, and I even saw a few when I was in school in NorCal… We are taught this chit as little kids, just as much as ocean safety. Tourists not near the ocean are uneducated on this stuff..
