I am hearing a lot about laws don't matter, they say nothing would change if the laws were not changed, I say if the age was raised to 21 or 25 before a gun can be bought would make a huge difference. Why????? Because at the age of 18 dangerous people have had a few run-ins with the law but no real record, by the age of 21 or 25 there is a far better chance to prove that they are responsible adult or dangerous adults. By the age of 21 or 25 if they have mental illness or violence's they usually are in a mental hospital, jail, or prison with no possibility of owning a gun. There also needs to be classes, tests and real licenses of substance rather than a background check only. We have to pass classes, take training, and pass government tests to drive a car. The least we can do is have at least that many rules to owning a deadly weapon.
