just an FYI columbine started at 11:15am and police did not enter the school in force and find the shooters until 3:30pm (it was probably closer to 4pm)

As a gun owner and a second amendment advocate I can confidently speak on behalf of all gun owners. We don’t care that kids are dead and we don’t care how many more will die. They are a sacrifice and us conservatives would sacrifice even our on children. Because guns are fun and the only thing that can stop a bad guy with a gun is a good guy with a gun.

COWARDS!! Because of their despicable and deplorable Military Style Warrior Police Training, our cowardly Protect And Serve Law Enforcement Officers stood away from the windows outside to avoid being shot at and stood outside the locked door from the slaughter room with apparently no shots coming towards them for an ENTIRE HOUR until the rate of fire inside the classroom slowed to something that felt safe. During this same hour of terror, actually brave mothers and fathers were breaking windows outside of quiet rooms to drag their children to safety and running down the hallways beating on quiet doors until the teachers inside realized it was safe to open the doors and run out to freedom with their students. THAT IS BRAVERY. However, LIES, all the self-glorious speeches about the ?bravery? of our Officers are LIES. The actions of our Protect and Serve Law Enforcement Officers in response to the horror in one classroom are COWARDS.
This sounds stupid, but it is NOT stupid. Every Mass Murderer who has been stopped by his intended victims has been STOPPED by someone throwing a CHAIR at them. THROW A CHAIR. When a Murderer is dodging a chair, he cannot dodge a chair and shoot accurately at the same time. If one takes a shooter self-defense course the first lesson they tell you is to throw a chair, It does not have to be a chair. It can be anything large and heavy but light enough for one to pick up and throw at the gunman. No pausing to threaten. Pick it up and throw it in one quick and smooth motion. Anybody close enough needs to physically jump on the gunman as he is dodging the chair. THIS WORKS. Throwing a chair needs to lead and end every story about Mass Shootings.

At about $1,000 each, every school slaughter brings about $20,000,000.00 into the pockets of our Killing Gun Industry. This must stop.

A Death Cult Gun Worship Club rotting in our country does not hinge on whether or not a kid can buy a gun. When I was only 14 or 15 I went to Woolworths in Downtown Burlington, Vt. a couple of blocks from Bernie's City Hall, a little before Bernie's time. From a barrel of rifles sitting just inside the front door, I bought a Mannlicher Carcano 6.5mm Carbine for around $10.00 of my own money. Nobody stared, and no cashier paused, it was just another day at Woolworths. I contemplated going back within the year to buy a long-barreled British Enfield .303 from a bunch in the same barrel. The Mannlicher was my third weapon and the first that I purchased myself. It would be a few years before I realized that it was the short version of the rifle that killed Kennedy.
My first personal weapon was a 410 shotgun with a 3-inch chamber given to me as I turned 6 years old. Nothing was strange. Within the following couple of years, a bunch of my friends and I took a gun safety course firing BB guns in the meeting house of our small Catholic Church. No scattered cadre of public assassins sprang forth from all this to attack our country every three or four days. No armed national gangs of thugs and bullies were around at the time to inspire disturbed people to daily unload their second amendment solution on us. This was long before the NRA became a Death Cult Gun Worship Club and spawned insurgents to randomly attack small gatherings in the US. Our very own expression of "American exceptionalism" frothing in our own Death Cult Gun Worship Club.
Say what you will… But, HATE is a common and universal human recreation. The vast majority of people are getting a thrill out of each moment of hate. Yes, I am speaking about you.

I so want to say that you can take all your sorries, condolences, thoughts, prayers and imagine what I want to tell you what to do with them. The same for all the babble about motivations and unknown causes. But, as impotent as these things have proven to be,, my saying that would be cruel. This person and every other person committing a mass murder, from the time they started their car until they are killed or locked away for the night, are living the single most exciting day ever in their entire lives. They are flushed with the glory of their actions and they know that they are fulfilling the directives of the leaders they choose to follow and the gangs they align with. And my last phrase is the most important. They have done what they feel has now been allowed for them and expected of them by the authorities that they respect and devoutly follow. Only each of us day by day, when we discover a person feeling this way and preparing to do these things, can take the right steps to prevent this from happening to us.

I am speaking about the hate in you. Some think that the killer is the Hater and they are not. That thinking supports the reams of psychology and sociology looking for some unique flaw in the killer that separates them from us. That has worked very well… Right? Of course not. Little of it relates to what is happening in the killer.
Again, if we, acting together, want to stop this, one of the things we can do is day by day when we discover a person hinting at being a mass murderer, each of us must take the right steps to prevent this from happening to us.
