  1. Isn't religion wonderful?

  2. EVERY church that has a Leader that has been called out and/or accused of such sinful, unlawful, lewd, and morally despicable behavior should IMMEDIATELY lose their church's Tax Exemption status until the matter is resolved. And regardless of the outcome, they should NEVER be able to hold a position of Leadership in ANY church EVER again! The victims need to give the names of EVERY person they sought out for help and those lousy ass enablers should also lose their positions as well and if there is any possible legal remedy that can be taken against them it should be done as well. "Anyone, then, who knows the right thing to do, yet fails to do it, is guilty of sin." They should ALL burn in HELL! You call yourselves holy and you are worst than the ones you call sinners. This is beyond heartbreaking it is sickening! You've changed the hearts of many seeking God and that as far as am concerned is the WORST sin of all!

  3. “One of the saddest lessons of history is this: If we’ve been bamboozled long enough, we tend to reject any evidence of the bamboozle. We’re no longer interested in finding out the truth. The bamboozle has captured us. It’s simply too painful to acknowledge, even to ourselves, that we’ve been taken. Once you give a charlatan power over you, you almost never get it back.”
    ― Carl Sagan

  4. Their only going to throw the weakest under the bus to avoid dealing with the real root problem and thats false doctrine and secret societies of the darkest kind.

  5. What a piece of trash. Who can believe anything this man has to say. Liar. Off with the leaders heads. They are the guilty ones who swept it under the rug. Why. They were the ones committing the crimes. This man is stuck on himself. How many times did he remind use he was the president of the SBC.

  6. And not a word from QAnon?

  7. Southern Baptist Convention or meeting of pedophiles?

  8. He’s gaslighting 🤮

  12. Guess we know who the real “groomers” are

  13. Acts 7:48 KJV — Howbeit the most High dwelleth not in temples made with hands; as saith the prophet,

Only devils tryna steal your money and your kids virginity. And they hide it… What about the Vatican and the Catholic church. So many child abuse cases yal should be ashamed of yourselves

  14. A quick look at the State of the Southern Baptist Convention

  15. Put a woman in charge. She will fix it.

  16. Rev chapter 18. Get out if the churches.

  17. More God: Southern Baptist Convention abuse, Catholic church abuse. ✔
    More guns: school shootings. ✔
    Happy now, MAGA?

  18. Rumors! Y’all KNEW y’all CHOSE to ignore! Y’all ALL better fall on your knees and ask for forgiveness and never set in a pulpit ever again! Shame on you!

  19. Not one word of sorry or contrition to the victims in this interview

  20. Think about this. This man is a leader of a org that is supposed to be guided by God.
You telling me he knew that other leaders in his church and didn't do anything to address it until this report happened.
Omg, he could have made a public statement at any time. That's what a real leader would have done. Do something!!!

  21. What about criminal charges?

  22. The Southern Baptist Church did what they intended; cover up the abuse to stay in power and protect their reputation and funding. Why would they be any different from any other organisation protecting itself? Listen as the leaders deflect reponsibility by apportioning it to everyone. Ask for names of abusers, who and when reported, who and when and how investigated.

  23. Always go directly to the police Try to record/film conversations with the abuser and document everything

  24. Apocalyptic death cult abuses its members. Shocking.

  25. The dawning of a new day or is it Just a twist in the mist of a ordinary day . The veil of secrecy and the Sexual Environment of the Churches is only Hidden to those who are Blind or refuse to see the Women who attend everyone of those Churches . Twenty Years of Sexual Misconduct is being modest , One Hundred Years and longer is more Realistic and Actuate .
Sexual abuse in the Churches is as old as Methuselah and the children are the ones most sought after .
From the Law Makers too the Law Enforcement many have participated in what the Churches call a Unmentionable Taboo .
This Revaluation is NOT going to Change what has been happening since the Government ruled that Churches are Tax exempt .

  26. The Southern Baptist Church has had problems from the start. The Baptist Church split because the South thought it was okay for their missionaries to own slaves. No Black should be a part of this ridiculously sinful cult.

  27. This guy is in on I can see it in his eyes

  28. Power. Sex. Money. And an easy disguise: "Jesus Jesus Jesus" and a suit.

  29. For there is nothing hidden that will be disclosed, and nothing concealed that will not be known or brought out into the open. Luke 8 17

  30. Another cover up will happen.

  31. Obviously…this guy was sleeping for years if he only heard "rumours". The "light" was very un-illuminated for a very long time.

  32. Trump: Well, if I wasn't Ivanka's dad…and this church supported Trump. Pathetic and such a shining light on the evil of narcissism and greed. Where is Fox news in all this?

  33. MATTHEW 7:15 🤷‍♀️

  34. How dare he quote Jesus in the onset of the crimes of this appalling church! crimes they have known about and suppressed for decades! What a gross blasphemy!

  35. What an idiot….. That pastor is a liar

  36. As a former catholic I concur with all of the I'll sentiment that's being thrown here. But But But let's not forget the holier-than-thou politicians( left and right), all of the media elite, all of the celebrities, that have stumbled and fell from that ever loving grace that we sheep have bestowed onto them.

  37. I will not attend a Southern Baptist Church ever again. 20 years is a long time to cover up abuse.

  38. So the Baptists are molesting kids too? I thought that was a “Catholic thing”.

  39. 👆🏼👆🏾
    🩸💧

  40. Difference between SBC and the Roman Catholic Church:
The SBC has 0 authority over churches, pastors, or members. If a survivor of abuse sends an accusation against a pastor to the leadership, there is no direct action that can actually be taken besides investigating the specific case and perhaps removing the specific church from affiliation. The SBC can't fire, remove, fine, replace, or enforce policy on anyone in any church. Neither do they have the practical capacity to hide alleged activity from law enforcement investigation. The SBC are not the "bosses" of the pastors of SBC churches. Each church is its own separate entity that deals with its own personnel concerns as well as policy, doctrine, bylaws, and everything else.
Yes , they should have looked into accusations more thoroughly, but the main recourse of victims of abuse is law enforcement and the local church body. Baptist pastors and staff are employed by the local congregation, not some convention or church hierarchy. The individual cases of alleged abuse are issues to be handled at the local level within the local congregation and with local law enforcement.
The SBC leadership's only real responsibility in such cases of alleged abuse is to look into them for the sake of awareness of the issue and if any action could be taken. But the only actual action that the SBC would be able to take would be to disassociate with the person involved.
The Catholic Church has an almost feudalistic hierarchical organization in which local bishops and the pope have direct authority over the priests and staff under them. If a certain priest is accused of abuse, the bishop has the authority and the power to have him removed, defrocked, or otherwise punished. They also have the organizational capacity to hide alleged crimes from investigation. Then, when the issue becomes widespread, the pope himself has the responsibility and authority to do something about it on a wider scale as well, for good or ill. With authority comes responsibility.
A Baptist Convention just doesn't work like that. They can neither punish nor screen pastors. The most they can do is disassociate from them. And disassociation wouldn't hurt the pastor or church because local pastors and churches don't actually get much of anything from the Convention. It's the other way around. The only change would be that the Convention would lose the missions funding coming from that church. But the specific church or pastor wouldn't be hurt at all.
This is why Baptist Conventions are called conventions. That's literally all they are: a group of like-minded church leaders coming together to discuss concerns and raise funding for missions. There authority, and therefore their responsibility over specific cases, is minimal.

  43. My old church. Where apparently a lying spirit has replaced the Holy Spirit. The direction my old pastor gave me was wrong and that is why I quit over 20 years ago. My prayer is that missionaries will go into the Baptist Church and share the Gospel with the people. Because they really need Jesus. And I thank Jesus for getting me out of that dying church. The Bible says to test the spirits. And the Baptist Church keeps failing.

  44. His hands aren't clean either

  45. BE HONEST…
The list alleged PREDATORS and those who hid the allegations should be investigated and charged accordingly and FORTHWITH.
    Period.
Don’t waste everyone’s time with PR rhetoric about your sympathy and how “changes will be implemented”.
