The state won’t always save you. The second amendment exists for this reason, and to stop genocide from the state as well. When kids are in school away from your protection, the school should be obliged to protect them as well. If that means protecting our kids like your money in a bank, so be it

I now have to wonder if that drill included:
• Not warning the school to lockdown
• Not listening to the screaming children's 911 calls
• Tasing the parents
• Letting the shooter keep his gun for an hour to shoot the children
• Calling for the parents' guns to be taken away
So what I'm hearing is. The majority of people who know how to use guns efficiently and effectively to their maximum effect are criminals and psychopaths. Police officers who are supposed to be "heroes" don't even feel confident or capable of doing their job using the TOOL they are provided. They would rather cower and hide while the rest are stepped on like ants by the ones who use their tools most effectively.
This says a lot about America's gun control situation…..and it has been this way since the day of automatic/semi-auto weapons for the public.
American cops are trigger happy but not it seems when the situation calls for fire power. It seems they have gone the British way of abandoning victims of crime while they do a health and safety assessment. Such cowards cannot protect the people they are paid to protect.
I always thought texans are some of the toughest americans. So dissapointed that these texas police are cowards. How come im not hearing any resignations. How can they sleep at night with what they did.
They are tough enough to pull you over when you are “speeding” and act like a tough guy.

For the Republicans saying the schools should have one door, what if the schools were covered with fake, painted-on doors. Like in Looney Tunes. The shooter would never be able to find his way in and would just give up.
