First they took the island…..wait… I was born in USA oh well…..
The guy says it never falls back to the person who does the shooting. It does fall on that person. Every one of them are incarcerated or dead. That is not the problem. They all have been held responsible for their actions. I argue that none of these people manufactured the assault rifles they are using to murder people. It's almost to the point these politicians are saying f our lives and our children lives to our faces. It's that blatant that the NRA is running government. We need to hold the nra accountable to every senseless murder committed by their products. They fought for the law for this guy to be able to buy their product and fighting to keep it that way. The NRA's and Republicans solution is to put more guns out there with no worries of this mass shooting or any shooting happen where they live, shop or where they're children attend school. 🤔
Start with assault weapons but that's not enough in America. You need a buy back scheme to help remove a lot more

The active-shooter training given throughout our country is bogus and impotent. It is based on pausing to amass the appropriate divisions, strategize and then take down the insurgent with maximum force. Guaranteed to fail. The only military routine you should use is the small team relayed advance into live fire. This is where a team of 3 or 4 advances on a gunman. From the point of entry, the team advances in a widely spaced single file rapidly through the safe areas. As a risky area is approached, the lead man finds and stops at a protected position, anything that is available. The middle men take protected positions near them. The last man runs at the ready past the men ahead of him to reach a new advanced protected position as he is covered by the other men from their protected positions. This proceeds at nearly a running pace until they reach the point of contact with the shooter. At that place, the team spreads widely for whatever protection they can find, rapidly assesses the situation, and proceeds on the shooter as quickly as they can. When contact is made every situation is different. With this approach, there are no pauses to gather and plan. As soon as the officers place their cars in park, put on their vests, and pick up their weapons, they are each running toward the building accepting a lead man and entering to reach the shooter. The aim is to neutralize the shooter within 5 minutes of leaving their cars. All innocents should be signaled to leave immediately in a safe direction. None of the team should pause to assist them. If the team immediately, begins shooting at the suspect, he will stop shooting at the victims to return fire at the officers. That will save lives.

Other points. Yes, as Emporer of the known and unknown Universe, I would outlaw the future sales of all weapons with changeable magazines. This would be supported by a government-funded VOLUNTARY buyback of all weapons with changeable magazines. Fortunately, that would not affect my Mannlicher Carbine 6.5 mm with the 5 round clips. Each full clip is loaded through the breech after the empty clip has fallen out. I would outlaw the future sales of all and any extended capacity magazines and outlaw the current possession of all extended capacity magazines. A MANDATORY buyback program would be very effective. If one cannot be effective with 7 to 11 quick-fire rounds in self-defense, that person should be labeled unsafe to own any gun.

Sure, when a mass murderer lifts his assault weapon, draws down on a crowd, repeatedly and quickly pulls his trigger, watches the misty blood cloud explode from each victim as the bullet strikes them, hears the yells from the panicked crowd, and relishes the tormented screams from each dying target, you can absolutely say that the murderer caused the deaths. But when we learn that his manifest is full of language that he praises and might even be copied from the NRA, then I think your restrictions limiting the word "cause" are perverse.

A Death Cult Gun Worship Club rotting in our country does not hinge on whether or not a kid can buy a gun. When I was only 14 or 15 I went to Woolworths in Downtown Burlington, Vt. a couple of blocks from Bernie's City Hall, a little before Bernie's time. From a barrel of rifles sitting just inside the front door, I bought a Mannlicher Carcano 6.5mm Carbine for around $10.00 of my own money. Nobody stared, and no cashier paused, it was just another day at Woolworths. I contemplated going back within the year to buy a long-barreled British Enfield .303 from a bunch in the same barrel. The Mannlicher was my third weapon and the first that I purchased myself. It would be a few years before I realized that it was the short version of the rifle that killed Kennedy.
My first personal weapon was a 410 shotgun with a 3-inch chamber given to me as I turned 6 years old. Nothing was strange. Within the following couple of years, a bunch of my friends and I took a gun safety course firing BB guns in the meeting house of our small Catholic Church. No scattered cadre of public assassins sprang forth from all this to attack our country every three or four days. No armed national gangs of thugs and bullies were around at the time to inspire disturbed people to daily unload their second amendment solution on us. This was long before the NRA became a Death Cult Gun Worship Club and spawned insurgents to randomly attack small gatherings in the US. Our very own expression of "American exceptionalism" frothing in our own Death Cult Gun Worship Club.

I so want to say that you can take all your sorries, condolences, thoughts, prayers and imagine what I want to tell you what to do with them. The same for all the babble about motivations and unknown causes. But, as impotent as these things have proven to be, my saying that would be cruel. This person and every other person committing a mass murder, from the time they started their car until they are killed or locked away for the night, are living the single most exciting day ever in their entire lives. They are flushed with the glory of their actions and they know that they are fulfilling the directives of the leaders they choose to follow and the gangs they align with. And my last phrase is the most important. They have done what they feel has now been allowed for them and expected of them by the authorities that they respect and devoutly follow. Only each of us day by day, when we discover a person feeling this way and preparing to do these things, can take the right steps to prevent this from happening to us.

The SOLUTION is easy, getting it done is the hard part. A balanced solution that protects 2nd amendment rights while protecting us from the nutcases would be to implement the following> 1) 21 yr. minimum age (2) Background check (3) Psych evaluation (4) 30 day waiting period for all gun sales (5) mandatory gun safety course. I would not ban assault rifles but would require owners to do a yearly registration of those weapons to insure they remain in their hands. Neither side is going to be happy with this solution but that is the trademark of a fair negotiation that protects both sides.
