This is ridiculous. Did you know that diesel is the cheapest fuel to make? Both my parents worked for a refinery for a while in Corpus Christi, Texas, around the late 50's-early 60's. They couldn't hardly give diesel away at that time, but that was before they started making diesel pickup trucks.
Low rates, double the price for fuel, no loads coming out of Midwest or west coast (where most produce is grown). Where is all the food? Something sinister is happening.

When you double the price of diesel items delivered are going to cost more. INFLATION!
Fox Business should do a story on the shipping brokers, go between from the shippers and truckers to get the loads rolling, brokers have not been INCREASING THE FREIGHT RATE TO HELP AT ALL THE DIESEL PRICES and this is fact when dealing with many of the brokers across the U.S.A.
How do I know I have been an OTR trucker for 28 years+ now and it has been proven over and over the brokers love to screw the truckers so they can make extra commission and bonuses.
That is where the real story for Fox Business is; good luck getting the shipping brokers to talk though, greedy desk jockey cowards they are.
