Gun control would not have prevented this and the shooting in Buffalo, NY has the strictest gun laws in the nation yet it still happened has the shooter was able to buy an gun that was already banned in that state in the state of NY and pass a background test. The shooter in TX also passed a background test and had no history of mental illness and no criminal history. So he was able to buy a gun. Instead of blaming the NRA we need to make the local police department fully accountable for their failure. So please tell me how is this the NRA'S fault??????? Stop thinking we live in LALA land and live in safe clouds we do not.

No new law chang will save an unguarded school. Re read what i just wrote agaion , agaion and agaion…Untill those schools are guarded with the type of militerized police force we see driveing around in our streets patrolling what ? , untill those schools have metal detectors at the front doors, untill kids and everyone going into a school had there bags checked, they go through a metal detector and then are padded down ,,,no one will ever be safe in a school period. have all entry doors to the school locked from getting in but open to getting out…and a armed guard next to it …No new law will stop these horrible killings…That is what needs to be done…Armed guards… they do it in other countrys…DO not put your child in school another day untill the schools are guarded safe and seceure, then worrie about your worthless politation changing there laws, if you wate on potatoes to save the children ,,,it will never happen…Get the schools guarded and seceure Now…Do it…people volunteer to guard your children in there schools, do it…

I thought I would want to teach history in High School but now but now I’m not to sure about that.

Chicago is an example of how well 'gun laws' are working.
Its messed up – but just start putting multi million dollar life insurance policies on your children, it's not about the money to you. Its that way insurance companies will start lobbying for you. They don't want to pay out multimillions for something that can be easily prevented.

Nothing short of a mass, and I mean a million + (peaceful) people, marching on Washington DC is going to make any difference. And even then, that might not do it. God bless all of the victims families. And God help us all.
