The right to say whatever the effin someone wants to say SHOULD NEVER and IS NEVER more important than someone's right to tell the truth and defend oneself from a criminal lie. Your lawyer guest's and even your host's kind of thinking is why that First Ammendment is sorely abused by people with clear criminal intent for one's pure personal greed and gain. This here piece of your news commentary to me shows a lack of diligent work and research on the whole narrative of this case because you can't see past someone's attempt to hide behind the First Ammendment. This is why I will never completely buy into what some lawyers and hosts and obviously celebrities try to spew and sell to the public on tv about freedom of speech. But this is where were at right now and hopefully this case will show that truth always prevail. And even if Mr Depp loses the case, the public already knows the truth, first ammendment or not.
Defamatory statements against an individual are not protected under the first amendment. I am tired of LIARS and mainstream media spin doctors.
It's not "believing all women" to say that Amber is truthful and the multitude of women who testified contradicting her claims are liars. Believing Amber is, by definition, actually believing fewer women.
