I do support blue but this was probably the most coward excuse in the history of police officers. The victims families should sue the department and the cops along with their commander should all be put on trial.

The timeline after swat team arrived 30 minutes went by and they still heard shots going off in the class room likely the suspect was saving some ammo to shoot at police. He even expected a forced entry but when 30 minutes had passed probably decided to just finish off the kids.

I would think firing every police officer involved with protecting and serving those kids that day would be the first step the community would take. Those men can't realistically be trusted in the future with responsibility for others in life and death situations.
Maybe even criminal charges for the police who removed their own kids and left the others behind. I'm still trying to get my head around that.

While I side with the officers who stood outside carefully evaluated the situation before storming in, I do wonder if their actions would be any different if the majority of these kids are caucasian. Not accusing these officers to be stereotype or anything, just from my pure observation.
