The mother of this teen clearly does not think it is big deal. You can hear it from her voice. She should be thanking the law enforcement and think about why does her son think it is good idea to do this and where her parenting went wrong. Thats how it should be done. Report such incidents/behaviors to law enforcement and let them investigate and arrest the possibly would-be suspect before it is too late.

we need the ability to baker act kids. Think about this. Arrested, well there's a 10 year old in Florida that that has happened too and just imagine what his family is going through. They Do NOT get psych help in jail. That one kid had his parents in the principals office and they should of been given a choice, jail and all over the news OR a 3 day baker act hold for full evaluation which can be handled privately. HE apparently had been evaluated over 12 hours, HE then went to social media and bragged about how he just lied and they bought it. After three days, they gonna know. Pass that and you get to go back to school and a report on you goes to the school.
BTW in Florida the Florida State Department of Education HAS NO contact what so ever with our State Government. They can not submit any ideas to them, talk to them, associate with them, they can't do squat. So now the question is WHO is educating your children. Heck, when the Gov built NASA they actually let the rocket scientists recommend and build the rockets.
Kids are rockets. POLITICIANS DO NOT NEED TO BE RAISING YOUR KIDS. That's what the bloody Department of Education is for BASED on parental input. Tells me a lot about why nothing, NOTHING, gets done at school board meetings.
So make some phone calls people. We either have a Department of Education or we Have Gov teach our kids. who do you wanna carry in your wallet?
