It was a false flag. Mayorkas is behind the whole thing. The stand down order came from the top. Now Mayorkas is abandoning the locals, that’s why Arredondo was sworn in as a city council member.
Fake news – 20 seconds of “new” video
They knew their big man told them to stand down, but not that babies were crying for help? Yeah, that makes sense.
Never trust police! Cowards.
Why the build up for a “new video” and then no revelation? #sus
Sorry, YouTube. I cannot think of any way possible to be respectful about the cowardly, impotent ignorant coward cops who showed up to witness this event. You the thought they showed up to do something about it. They did. They tased and arrested the parents for criticizing their inactions while they stood around and listened to the sounds of children being slaughtered. Not a single one listened to their own natural instincts to actually do something. They're training caught them better. As a policeman your life is more valuable than anyone else's. Officer safety comes first, children and victims are secondary. Do not enter into a life risking situation without adequate backup. What is that? If 20 armed police are not adequate to stop a single gunman then there is no use for them at all. From here on in till the day I die I will never trust or respect anyone in a cop's uniform ever again. I don't respect cowardly trash. F*** them all.
Still has anybody confirmed for certain children were killed after initial contact
The random shots were at police officers outside the room. Still waiting on the REAL story
If a Dunkin donuts needed to be shook down, the cops would have heroically rushed in.
Fire every coward.
Who recorded the shooting?
This is 2022 and it proves that everyone only cares about themselves if they are scared…even those who signed up to put their lives on the line 💀🥲🤨
This video showed us absolutely nothing….🙄🤨
The chief of the police should go to jail for the rest of his life. The teacher who left that door open should go to jail for the rest of her/his life. You fix that, and there will never be another door left open and there will never be cowardice in another situation like this.
Why did almost all the cops that showed up not wearing a helmet ?
Texas should consider California cops training them. Too reliant of guns.and bullets
Welcome to our world white people lol. Decades you laughed at us .and called cops on us . …. Thank you cell phones and socal media for showing the true nature of most police.
The cops were almost as evil as the shooter
I find it interesting America had the parkland shooting and the cop didn't go in now we have this and it's the same scenario.
Every single officer should be held responsible for being accomplices to the murderer.
If it was 77 minutes, they failed to help…and should be held responsible.
So it's the polices fault? I knew the media would shift the blame from the killer to the police. Media news agenda…"don't forget, police bad." Pathetic!
Why isn't anyone asking why the door was unlocked and open. Guess that isn't news worthy
It was definitely a flustercluck however, I would suggest that all (especially the media) do some deep investigation into all factors involved (school floor plans, district protocol, etc.) before laying it all on the chief.
For example, It was district policy for all classrooms to have their doors shut and locked while class was in session. At least one of the two classroom doors was open. At the point where the gunman started shooting outside, he was over twice the distance and two doors away from the classroom door than the teachers were and was not running. Still the teachers were incapable of getting there first to shut and lock it. According to interviews with survivors, nearly all of the shooting and all but a couple of the deaths occurred within minutes of him entering the room and well before the main body of the police had even had time to arrive (one death came later when a hidden kid's phone rang and got the gunman's attention. While another came shortly before border patrol went in when they asked if anyone needed help to yell "help me." One of the hidden children did which got the attention of the shooter and well…)
The two officer's who responded first did attempt to reach the gunman but (looking at the floorplan) had no chance with pistols and essentially no armor due to the defensive position of the shooter and the lack of cover between them and the shooter. Both sustained multiple grazes trying and ultimately fell back and called for back up from the Uvalde PD as protocol required.
Here's where things get messed up. From what I can find, the school district PD does not have it's own 911 dispatch and shares one with the Uvalde PD. So the childrens calls were going there not being dispatched directly to the chief. It doesn't appear that the calls for help from inside were being passed on to him. It's not mentioned in the news much but there was a ~40 to ~50 minute long lull in gunfire that started around the time the chief arrived on the scene. With that in mind and the fact that he wasn't being informed about the calls from the children inside, his thinking that they were just dealing with a barricaded shooter with no children in immediate danger makes a lot more sense. Also, looking at the floorplan, for the officers in the nearby hallway to go in, it would have meant a situation where quite a few would most likely be wounded/killed if the shooter were waiting on them to come and no guarantee that they could even get in as he would only have needed to shut the door to prevent it. Given that and the belief that no children were in danger, it completely makes sense that he would not want to try a frontal assault until shields were available.
Those in charge of the school district itself share a bit of blame as well. From what I've found, the safety protocol only required that the high school and middle school have dedicated officers stationed. The elementary school was not specifically mentioned (which explains why no officer was there when it began.) It also appears that they spent the bulk of their security funds on the high school and middle school with the elementary school again being left the scraps. Also, the idea of creating their own small undermanned and underequipped PD rather than just simply letting the Uvalde PD handle their area as well just seems unnecessarily complicated and was likely a primary factor in the confusion etc. that day.
In the end, trying to lay the blame solely on the police just doesn't seem fair. This was more a matter of many mistakes from many sources combining to form one giant overall mistake. Basically, everybody dropped the ball.
As an aside. Looking at the layout of the building, any parents that went in whose kids were in that classroom would most certainly have come out in body bags had the shooter been waiting on an assault. So, the police keeping them back was the wise move.
Edit. I forgot to point out just how undermanned and underequipped the school district's PD was. It consists entirely of a chief, four (possibly five) officers, and a detective. They have three schools and the district in general to deal with and do not have armor that could stop high velocity rifle rounds nor are they armed for a shootout against such.
The people of Uvalde voted for the mayor, the chief of police, Senator Cruz and Trump.
Yes, you reap what you sow. America is weird, and doesn’t understand democracy. Now, hands off my God given gun! From the outside, it’s a One Flew Over the Cuckoos Nest society. Your thoughts?
How can theses so called cops just wait that long to go in and save those kids? There could have been kids that didn't have to die!
They have to live the rest of their lives knowing they could have saved someone but they stood outside those doors and waited..
I will never understand or forgive them. Peace
I'm so past this Mass Shooting.🤷🏻♀️
People are going to do whatever they want,
And law's and order in society only factor in to it when people actually follow the law.
If someone is going to break the law they really don't give 2💩's about the law's in the first place.
This is the only news you got and y'all not gonna let it go very sad
A gallery in Hell waits for no opening. Justice interesting to our King as water mud and fire, a tray turntable. 71.71/101= 🌞 sexat wercs🙏
Sad to think for 77 minutes how those wounded kids suffered mentally and physically. Could some have been saved if cops went in sooner? Makes me sick to think about it. Also I don’t understand how an 18-year-old can buy a killing machine like that but can’t even walk into a casino to put money in a slot machine until he’s 21 years old. Makes no sense to me at all.😭
I’m a retired LEO (Lt CID Sheriff’s Office) I disagree with this commentator. When I first heard the officers failed to act quickly I didn’t believe it. I could not imagine that this very scenario was taught to respond that way. If that’s the case then whoever thought that this is best practices to handle a situation like this should loose his or her job. I was a deputy when the Columbine school shooting occurred. Me and other members of my squad back then were stunned by the inactions of the police. Today, knowing officers repeated that mistake is horrifying. Every last one of them should be fired. I’m so disappointed, pissed, and shameful that these officers waited even five minutes is just beyond belief.
It is one of the first things I was taught. The victims life or the life on the innocent comes first and the officer is second. What were they thinking? At best the shooter was gone and children lay wounded on the floor waiting for help. The worst is what happens when one listens to someone who is not present and is not listening to the dispatch traffic saying kids are calling for help.
Officers don’t wait if a person in a car starts shooting at them. They don’t call the chief and ask what to do. No they take direct action and fire back. So why did so many of these officers fail to act .
There is a term in sociology I learned back in college. It was titled differently buck then but the same concept. It’s known as the by standard effect. Which in no way excuses the officers at the scene because we are the ones who answers the call. There is no one left to call. We are not bystanders. We are trained to act to save lives. We are given body armor, helmet, pistol, a rifle and a shotgun. Along with a radio. If you think I don’t know what I’m talking about you are most assuredly wrong. I did act when two other officers not only questioned what I was doing but would not follow me in. Thankfully a third deputy went in with me.
Direct action is what should be taught to this new generation of officers. I was trained to think clearly and decisively and that means direct action, by that I mean communicate, breach then cover, communicate and move, then repeat. That is up to the time you confront and shoot the perpetrator. No hands up, no freeze, no telling him to stop. Just stop the loss of life end with him being killed so no other child is killed.
There is also another indicator the officers failed beyond belief. The term is exigent circumstances. If it is dire the officer has the authority to act without hesitation.
The idea of waiting when you have senior and ranking officers on scene who have the most up to date information and the authority to act overrides the chief sitting in a office.
I truly believe if just one officer would have taken charge he could have ar least got one of the other officers to follow him in. And we would praise their action. But we are left with so many kids being murdered whilst officers paraded around in their tactical helmet, vest, camo’s and very tricked out rifles.
Like I said I am so pissed off I would fire everyone of them.
There is no way you can justify 78 min to go in, all that training for nothing. No confidence at all.
I hope people start to understand that cops are liars. And will almost always lie to look good. When people come foward about abuse from cops believe them because most of the time they are telling the truth. I was 12 yrs old the first time I realized cops were liars. A 12 year old kid.
Where's this "new footage"
Who ordered them all to sit around for over an hour letting the shooter kill as many kids as possible? Is it possible for that many pigs to be selfish spineless cowards at the same time? (okay, yes, it is)
I count nine lies from that cop. He needs to STFU.
Maybe this school shootings is a karma for all the u.s invasions in the middle east and elsewhere. You don’t think all your crimes would go unpunished do ya?
