As the investigation into the school shooting in Uvalde, Texas, that killed 19 children and two teachers continues, authorities are walking back earlier statements that the gunman entered the building through a door that was left propped open by a teacher. NBC News’ Julia Ainsley has the details.

I feel so bad for the parents of all the children that passed away, All Guns should be illegal except for authority (Police etc). The amendment is dated, They also thought it was ok for salvery and women couldn't vote etc. What was once deemed ok for the 1700s doesn't necessarily mean it's a great thing for 2022.

When are the investigators going to reveal if 911 dispatch told the police on-site that there were children still alive calling for the entire hour????? Because I’ve seen a tape made by a bystander if the police out side the school and in the background is dispatch telling them that at 12:13. Were they told about the other calls??? It was their duty to go in right away. If they knew, and let those kids bleed out, how is this not criminal negligence or manslaughter?
Instead of telling them to hold the scene an taking time to dress up like swat they should have just made entry you have a vest on side arm an grab shot gun or rifle but no need to wait at all. Just cause you guys want to look good in your gear running around the scene instead entering right away. I've just read he spoke to NBC and said he has been in touch with the investigators daily?!
And I've also read that federal agents disobeyed his instruxtions and went and got the gunman – so was it or was it not coal they were waiting and he still wasnt going to let anyone in? We need answers and the parents need to know what happened to their children!
In a world without 2A the the only non military with guns would be criminals and cops. The former choose their time and the latter (if they even come in time) may not have the competence or resolve to do their duty.

Stop getting mad at a teacher for possibly leaving a door open or unlocked. Having an open door or an unlocked door should not be an issue.
He's gotta get groceries eventually.
Even if the teacher didn't leave the door open, whenever she goes outside, the shooter can always force her to open the door with his guns.
Guns make evils powerful.
You give guns to evils, and then let saints carry guns to fight them. That becomes an infinity war.
You simply just don't give guns to those evils.

Even if all the doors in the school was opened wide. That is not the problem here, how untrained 18 year old got his hands legally on two rifles which he didn't need for work or anything is the problem
