So…the solution to American gun violence is to make bunkers out of our schools (and, of course, our churches, grocery stores, workplaces, social places like bars, clubs, theatres, concert halls, anywhere where people congregate), to arm teachers and school staff with state of the art weaponry while they teach our children, to drape the walls with anti-ballistic blankets…are these people listening to themselves???

$5.25 per gallon is our threshhold? I now limit my car to 1 day a week to store for grocery shopping, and go out of my way to only work from home. Gas became too high at $4.50 per gallon.

If you don’t have credit to buy a car you need a co signer. Perhaps if you cannot agree on putting limits as far as the age of buying a gun or acquire mental health evaluations.Maybe, If a co-signer was held responsible , referencing are required just like taking a job or a loan. Anyone buying a gun with references or someone willing to put theirselves accountable for someone else would limit the amount of irresponsible people buying them

I don’t believe mental illness has anything to do with the mass shootings in our country. Second amendment gives us the right to bear arms. I don’t think our forefathers any foresight to think that we would arm American citizens with military assault rifles. These murderers go after the most vulnerable in our nation, our children.

21 to 25 years old is ok but they should implement a 10 yr background check so if they look back and see a red flag from age 11 to 21 not to sell them a gun. My God glad we are talking about it but plz get a task force to mandate gun owners to be screened every 3 months if they don’t report for screening including sociological and sycological screening if they don’t report to screening with 10 days of date to report they need to be hunted like those with all the different type of mental illness and guns taken for probationary period but if they don’t report address and pass screening May lose privileges to being a gun owner and all those wanting to own guns need to go through course of mental wellness to own and pass if not passed no ownership of guns train all communities on watching out for those with mental break down and how to report so they are heard and action is taken

Regarding Depp Vs Heard: So individuals can't make up their own mind despite the information out there? It wasn't just statements, but demeanor. The original article was purposely edited. She wanted to have more details in the op-ed. Fortunately Depp had enough cash to even afford to defend himself and let all the details for and against him out there. Sadly our justice system is a money hungry machine. And some public defenders are so jaded from years of working for the accused can't objectively do their job anymore.

One is in pain and kills his doctor. He knows that his doctor can, or maybe can help maybe 50 people a day but his pain is too much to bear for him, only he knows! He might only be able to think about himself, the same as many people believe that they have the right to protect themselves and their families to own a weapon or one for him, one for his wife, and one for every one of his children, and a couple for his neighbors, and a whole lot more for his community and a bunch more for his city and the surrounding cities too. That is the "me" philosophy and I might be one of them too? or maybe not, I don't know! I have a bad feeling that the government might want to retrieve "all" weapons from "all" people, or maybe be a good feeling about that? I don't know! But I know one thing, if you think a lot, you will not know what is right or what is wrong anymore. Maybe because I am a mental health patient for river 40 years? I don't know!
