My wife and I where riverfront by the American Dutchess when the shooter ran towards the river and was taken down by the Chattanooga police.
My husband used to work for Republic Parking until the pandemic really screwed everything up and was the beginning of the end of that job. I can’t help but think about how he would have likely been right down there in that area. He narrowly missed another shooting while he was working there. The other shooting was near the aquarium as well.

As a Canadian I used to love travelling by car throughout the United States. I won't be crossing the border again to travel. Too many guns, rifles. I will never understand Americans fascination with guns. How does owning your own gun give you a sense of freedom?
