He's not the uvalde police chief. He's the guy in charge of the 5 school cops. He shouldn't have been in charge of a tactical action like that to start with. What makes sense to me is if he wasn't in charge of that police action, the d.p.s. was. And they are making him the patsy for their mistakes. Think about it. He hasn't been making any statements, highway patrol and rangers have. And the changing narrative is coming from them. Everytime. This would explain why he is still getting accepted on the city council and nobody is pushing him to resign or why he doesn't seam to actually feel any remorse for such a huge loss of life on his watch. I bet he is getting forced or bribed to go along with it til it blows over. Probably why he says he speaks to d.p.s. everyday and they say he hasn't. I bet he is gonna be made to look worse than he ever thought he would. I dunno. But to me, this theory makes alot of sense as to why he is acting like he is. He is taking the fall whether he realizes it or not.

A police officer on my local NETWORK (and I’ll be fair and not name the department) made a curious statement today that I think is indicative of the overall problem with police. He said “I’m not really 100% caught up on what happened, not really sure of all the details. I’ll tell you right now law enforcement isn’t to blame. Anyone who thinks they are, wait till then need to dial 911 and nothing happens, then they will see police different”.
Ummm, but they did dial 911 in Uvalde, over 100 people. Oddly enough “officer”….NOTHING HAPPENED. He’s not 100% sure of the facts, by his own admission and he’s not 100% clear on the details, by his own admission. Despite that lack of facts and details, he’s already concluded that police officers couldn’t possibly be responsible for anything bad…….and that universal attitude leads to the slaughter of unarmed civilians by shooting, strangulation and beating. That Attitude stays in effect even after it’s clear that the biggest threat the shooter in Uvalde faced was the police or angry parents engaging him…….a threat he didn’t face because police held parents back with threats, giving the shooter armed security ring around the school and 77 minutes to do what he wanted. How many kids who could have been saved do you imagine bled out because a Fat Slob, Sack of meat in a badge Uvalde calls a chief took the approach “We will always fight crime !!! Unless we can get hurt”
