  1. Puerto Rico is part of the United States so why are they having to live like a third world country?!?!

  2. Stupid people can't do nothing for themselves.

  3. This is going to happen in the states. Very soon people. Just keep voting for Joe biden

  4. I guess those paper towels Trump was tossing out to the people of Puerto Rico didn't help much

  5. Stand for Statehood.

  6. Same old game plan. Offer loans. Destabilize economy. Bleed them dry.

  7. Handy work of the greedy oligarchs.

  8. Biden should go in and force LUMA to produce electricity safely using only solar and wind, and threaten them with the "defense production act".

  9. They were only allowed to repair the system, not fix its poor design. The Jones Act also increases the cost of electricity

  10. Time to sell Puerto Rico to cuba XD

  11. They should have given every home a couple panels with inverter systems after Maria. Under $2000 each.

  12. Prayers for people of Puerto Rio 🙏 the people need Help & Solutions Now Not more finger pointing…Beyond Sad

  13. We're really going through great lengths to not put solar panels on every home. Why anyone thinks grid-style electricity is sustainable long-term is dreaming. We can do it if we want to.

  14. No power but yet rent is 3,000 usd per month….lol

  15. Terrible. Going to be bad when the Asteroid hits

  16. I imagine they’re just not protected well enough. I have a lot of family who live there. It’s a wild place. Especially if their main defense is 0:37 like that is such a open area I’m almost convinced someone just started the fire. There really should be something to prevent this from happening and it might have been a overcharge of electricity that blew it up, but even then that’s a clear sign for upgrades. That definitely sucks

  17. Tesla Power Packs, Tesla Solar Panels, Tesla Power Wall. Puerto Rico of all places in the US is best situated to capture solar energy during the day and store it for use at night.

  18. But get them electric cars out there.

  19. Its things like this why Castro didn't want Cuba to be U.S dependent……

  20. Really sun is free , but I guess that would not make them money. Someone with money to pay for it and I will get a crew and install it

  21. Looks like nobody's shocked that it hasn't improved

  22. Azules y colorados con su corrupción por décadas. Eso es lo qué le gusta a sus ciudadanos . Éste es el resultado.

  23. I hate it when these hispanic reporters use their Spanish accent when pronouncing Spanish words yet use their reporter voice for everything else…puerrrrto rrrrico…
It's like nails on a chalkboard

  24. That is the people in charge in Puerto Rico's fault. They pocketed the money given to do the repairs.

  25. Must be " Orange Man " fault.

  26. Guess they wont be buying Tesla's

  27. Sounds like Texas. Is this something that US should help fix? 🙄

  28. This is a plan to continue to grab up Puerto Rico from under their hands,American government know this, the more conflict they cause the more people give up and move out of the island the more the American government can take from Puerto Rico and take full control the country.

  29. Keep voting for those dems though….. ya muppets

  30. Solar Power and Wind Energy will solve it.

  31. this is a US territory. went are they not getting help?

  32. Mark Anthony said to sing and dance when the rain falls, when trouble comes just sing and dance 💃🏻 that’s how you deal with your problems, vivir vivir aya ya ya yay 😃

  33. She looks rediculous in that reflective even a small looks like a trash bag on het

  34. Send more money to Ukraine, the proxy war

  35. Ex pats getting out of there?

  36. I call bullshite that the new power company cares. The folks in PR pay now, but the power goes down on an almost regular basis?! What, like the power in Texas?? The main guy prattled out terms that are obvious double-speak…

And, of course the Power Company is controlled by mainland Americans, NOT Puerto Ricans. Due to American Laws only American companies can supply power….bet even a Japanese-started company could do better. But no, that's not allowed.

  37. Maybe they should become real citizens of America and get help. To bad 🤣

  38. It's a mess, the way electricity was put together in your country. It is important that is is all fixed correctly, im sorry for your situation and it will get so much better soon in ways you never imagined. It will be thoroughly repaired. You have good people with you who want the best for you.

  39. They wanna be independent 🤣

  40. When you let a major infrastructure thing like a nations electrical system decay to the point Puerto Rico did that can't be fixed in a year, it took decades to get in that state and it will take time to fix it all as the guy said, that was as straight shooting as it gets from a power company.
