Starbucks is facing another union battle after the company announced it is shutting down a cafe in Ithaca, New York, that just voted to unionize back in April. NBC News’ Isa Gutiérrez reports on how the union believes the closure is a form of retaliation as this is the latest escalation between the National Labor Movement and Starbucks.

As a partner who has been with the company for over 10 years, I’ve seen countless Starbucks stores close. If the store isn’t making enough profit, if the properties rent goes up or if the lease is up and they don’t wish to renew it, if they want to move locations, if they don’t meet health code standards, etc. As much as those partners feel like the closing was retaliatory, they cannot prove that was the reason, that is their opinion, feelings and assumptions.

I've been hearing lots of young people complaining about high housing cost and $10/hr wage is not cutting it? Really? $10/hr is a good wage! I bought my first house for $3000 back in 1968. What's the problem? I would take the job if I were a young person. Millennials just don't wanna work.
