His story is different from the mom that went into school. She said no police was in building. And I heard that kids thought shooter was officer thats how he knew where to shoot bc he heard the kids. Sad🤬🙏🏻🙏🏻

Can't believe that the school police chief Arrodondo still has his job after being so negligent. If that city council doesn't fire him and kick him off the council, then there's likely some corruption going on in Uvalde.
What I don't get is why the doors to these two classrooms weren't closed and locked as a part of basic school security? It's insane that the shooter was allowed to be in the room with his victims for almost eighty minutes while good guys with guns, body armor, and ballistic shields did nothing. How many kids bled out, who could've been saved?
Small children like that don't have a Golden Hour to live with traumatic injuries. They have a Golden HALF Hour because they decompensate much faster. That police chief basically wrote off every child in those two rooms as dead. Everything learned in the Columbine shooting twenty years ago was ignored by law enforcement on this day. It's hard to even conceive of any one police officer arriving at that scene and not running towards the sound of gunfire to eliminate the threat as quickly as possible. It sounds like many of the parents were on the verge of storming the school themselves to save their children.
He is going to have survival guilt and so much other trauma 😔 why do the police in this cases ALWAYS let them down. They took an oath if you are too scare get another job.

This makes me so angry. Teacher's should not be armed in order to protect their kids. Teachers are there to teach, period. We have failed miserably as a country. GET RID OF ALL ASSAULT RIFLES. This should not be a discussions. They are made for war, not for our streets. This breaks my heart every single time and as a mother I can’t even imagine what those little kids went through. Their last moments, them being afraid and just wanting their parents there 😭😢 and I don’t see any movements! I don’t see anything being done fast enough to make change!!

I believe those officers that were in the school but didn’t stop the shooter and all the officers that didn’t dare to go in our a big part of the reason why the death toll is so high. They could’ve saved a lot more kids kids that were bleeding out that could’ve been saved died because of these cowards

It would have been best if teachers were telling the children to climb out of the windows! Playing dead and hiding behind the desk is what got them killed!!!!! And the police need to be held accountable for these deaths!!! From what I learned if they would have went inside possibly none of the students or teachers would have died!!!! Can you imagine being a teacher, forming a relationship with those kids throughout the year and then seeing all of them get brutally killed right before your eyes just days before the school year is over. Never seeing those kids you taught and nurtured all year long ever again. So incredibly heartbreaking…. This is going to be something that he’ll probably never get over.

Teach Them How You Survived , How To Just Get Up & Leave A Place Full Of Drug Activity , Or Where A Sexual Assault Could Happen , How To Plan Accordingly Your Way Home With Bus/Cab/ Etc.
